What we pick out from this report
CodeGuard themselves said they were surprised by the increasing number of websites integrating with LinkedIn. So were we. LinkedIn up until recently has not been a big ask from our clients but we have started to notice more of a curiosity from our clients as to how they can direct visitors to their LinkedIn company pages which they are now taking more of an interest in. LinkedIn is a great platform for networking with business owners. We use it for re-distribution of blog posts and company news. If you are not using it for your business, you should be.
Interesting statistics relating to mobile optimised websites. Only 50% are optimised according to Google Webmaster Tools. This is a relatively small number than expected. We did a post about going mobile last week. Check it out. It is not that hard to have your website optimised for mobile users and it is something you should consider more than ever.
We’ve said it before but WordPress really does rule when it comes to powering websites and blogs, more so as a content management system these days. WordPress is way out there with over 80% share. That is amazing.
